Sink is open source and collects nothing it does not need.

Update checks

On launch, the desktop app fetches sink.dev/version.json to tell you if a newer release is available. The request carries no identifiers, no query parameters, and no machine information beyond what any HTTP request contains. The manifest is a static file committed to the repository, so there is no server code handling the request.

You can disable update checks in the desktop app settings.

This website

This site is served by Cloudflare, which sees your IP address as part of delivering the site. We use Cloudflare's standard CDN metrics and Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, no fingerprinting, and no client-side state.
